PVHS welders were excellent teachers at the welding trailer during El Camino Jr. High Career Day.   Welding side by side with Allan Hancock students and staff and Melfred Borzall employees for six hours straight, Panthers and Titans build built customized airplanes.   Welding instructor Christine Linne shared, "Our students were touched to see how thrilled the El Camino students were to take home their own airplanes that they welded.

Students moved through the welding booths and even instructed some of the teachers and other Career day guests. According to Linne, "Our Pioneer Valley FFA students were top notch - they were fabulous!"

Afterward, students dined at Buffalo Wild Wings.  Noticing the PV shirts and gear, the wait staff seated them at the booth with the PV plaque!  Extra special!

Look for PV welders to help at the welding trailer for our own Career Day next month.  They are eager to do this again!
