Teacher and FFA Advisor, Gabe Ponce recently announced the Pioneer Valley FFA had the best showing at a speaking contest in the school's history.  Speaking Competitions ranged from Creed Recital, Impromptu Public Speaking, Extemporaneous Public Speaking, Prepared Public Speaking, and Job Interview.

Pioneer Valley FFA results included the Sectional Champion Job Interview participant in Baileigh Ruiz, the Sectional Champion, 3rd place, and 4th place individuals in Impromptu Public Speaking with Danny Morales, Nick Vasquez, and Sergio Segura, the 2nd and 4th place winners in Creed by Marissa Arias and Hannah Limon, and the 3rd and 4th Place winners in Extemporaneous Public Speaking in Phibie Ah Yet and DJ Claborn.

All of these students along with Evelyn Letona and Diana Martinez have qualified and will be competing in the Regional Speaking Finals in King City, Friday March 23rd.  "We have never had this many sectional finalists or champions at this level that will be not only competing but challenging for the Regional title and opportunity to compete at the State Speaking Finals in Fresno and Anaheim," shared Ponce.
