Several new faculty will be joining Panther family this upcoming school year.  This article will be updated as information becomes available.

Lisette Brown Math

After growing up in a small farming town, I headed to the University of California, Santa Barbara to continue studying mathematics, my favorite subject growing up. I then moved up the coast a few miles to continue studying mathematics, but in a different way. I earned my teaching credential at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I’m excited to begin my teaching career on the central coast and learn more about the Santa Maria area and all that it has to offer. Go Panthers!

Patty Costantinidis Special Education

I have taught Special Education common core math at Vandenberg Middle School for four years prior to joining PVHS. I coached girls 7th and 8th basketball for four years during my time there.  I really enjoy the outdoors including scuba diving, boating, road biking and being on the ocean. I am looking forward to helping young men and women at PVHS achieve their goals and enhance their high school experience.

Judy Craig Math

I am entering my 25th year of teaching and am so excited to be joining the PVHS community! Prior to joining PVHS, I have taught both middle and high school math in Lake Arrowhead and Los Altos California. Discovering and designing engaging and relevant curriculum for my diverse student population is a passion of mine. When I am away from my classroom, I enjoy hiking, running and taking long nature walks. I look forward to the 2020-2021 school year at PVHS and can't wait to meet all of my students!

Katie Daly Social Science

Hello everyone! My name is Katie Daly. I’m a wife and a mother of three and this is my first year teaching History. Having coached and substitute taught here at PV, I’m excited to have my own students and grow/adapt with them through this unusual time!

Kelsey Dudding FCS

I’m originally from Kentucky, which is where I’ve spent the majority of my teaching career. I am so excited and grateful to be a part of PVHS!

Fatima Gonzalez Counseling

I am extremely excited to be a counselor at PV this year. Many of you might already know me during my time as the EAOP college coordinator here at PV. I am a Guadalupe native and an Ernest Righetti High School alumni. I received my Bachelor’s Degrees from UCSB in Sociology and Chicana/o Studies. I received my Master's in School Counseling from Brandman University. My passion is being able to motivate and inspire students to make good decisions for their future. As a counselor, my goals are to support, encourage and help all of our students reach their highest potential.  I look forward to being part of our amazing counseling team and continuing to work with all of you, staff, students and parents.

Michelle Horwitz Math

My husband and I just moved from Oregon and I'm excited to work in a school that allows me to pursue what I'm passionate about. Soccer is my sport of choice, but as much as I love the outdoors, I sometimes favor a good book, anime, or even some call of duty.  My students will quickly see I am a Disney and Harry Potter nerd. My favorite Disney quote I like to apply to my classroom:  “You try you fail, You try you fail, But the only true failure, Is when you stop trying” -- Madame Leota in the film The Haunted Mansion

Daci Hughes English

I am a first year teacher, though I have experience working with and student teaching in all levels K-12. I was a high school and collegiate athlete, primarily swimming and water polo. Outside of teaching and athletics, my hobbies/interests include reading, hiking, photography, and baking. I'm delighted to begin my career at Pioneer Valley and I'm hoping to have a fun start with the Panthers.

Drew Johnson Special Education

I was born and raised in Santa Maria and attended Tunnell Elementary, Tommie Kunst Jr. High, PVHS, and graduated from Chico State.  In addition to teaching this year, I will coach football, basketball, and track.

Bailey Jonson English

This marks my third year teaching English and my first year at PVHS. My goal is to support my students’ growth through suitable and appropriate means throughout the challenges the upcoming year may present. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, binging Netflix, working out, and archery. If you have any school-related questions, please feel free to contact me through email.

Taylor Mihelic Science

I am a first year teacher, and I did my student teaching at PV with Riccardo Magni in 2019-2020, so I am very excited to continue being apart of the PV community. I attended Cuesta College and Cal Poly SLO. I am a mountain biker, rock climber, and science lover.

Anthony Morales Business

I was born and raised in Clovis, Ca. while attending K-12 schools in the district.  I graduated from Clovis High School and earned a B.S. in Business Administration with the option of Finance from Cal State University Fresno, now known as Fresno State.  I have 31 years in public education at the high school level.  I have spent 6 years as a classified employee, 1 year as a long term sub and 24 years as a certificated and certificated management position, which include 13 years as an assistant athletic director and athletic director.  In addition, I have 18 years coaching experience, which consist of 13 conference titles, 5 CIF titles and one CIF State Championship.  I serve on many CIF State committees.  I am also the public address announcer for all major wrestling events in California, including the CIF State championships and the NCAA Pac 12 Championships.  I have one son, who earned a B.S in Mathematics from Fresno State.  All in all, I am very excited to join the Pioneer Valley High School Panthers community.  I look forward to working and collaborating with our PV faculty/staff and most importantly, engaging and fostering our entire student body.  GO Panthers!

Nicole Moran International Languages

My name is Nicole Moran and I have been working in education for quite some time now in different capacities, including teaching English as a foreign language in Russia and China, working as a tutor at Lindamood-Bell, and teaching preschool, elementary school, high school and college. Some of my interests are foreign languages, dogs, music, reading, and cooking. I look forward to creating a community of foreign language and culture enthusiasts at Pioneer Valley and collaborating with colleagues in order to make that possible.

Andrew Rotondi Social Science

My name is Andrew Rotondi, a first year Social Studies teacher and football coach at Pioneer Valley High School. Having been a coach in our district since 2014, I am excited to continue serving our community as an educator.
